Mario Ancic - 'Little Goran'

Goran's retirement heralded the end of an era.. great times gone forever. However, that was not to be as Davis Cup of '05 proved me wrong. He had always said he would never come back but Croatia's entry into the final was no ordinary feat. I know that he didn't play a single shot but he did play the role of a great mentor to the man of the moment - Mario Ancic, to perfection.
Didn't really need to formally fall in love with Mario because even before I ever laid my eyes on him, I knew that he was nicknamed 'Little Goran' but boy was I in for a treat when I finally did see him in action.

Just take a look at this face people. Nothing would please my father more than me finding a guy to marry on my own.. well.. dad.. what do you think?!?!
His arrival in my life has taught me a valuable lesson. As much as one likes to reminisce and think that things would never be the same (read good old days are gone forever), we mustn't forget that the future in fact, possesses its own bag of wonders. So, let's all push aside the thought of a gloomy yonder and embrace the future with arms wide open.
"When we look back on our days, they've passed in a flash. Time doesn't last, and nobody's got long to live! SOMETHING bridges time - What? What? What?", asks Richard Bach. The answer according to me is Love! Love! Love!
Thanks, Mario.
