I'M BACK
Hello my friends, we meet again, it's been awhile, where do we begin...
These words of Scott Stapp say it all eh..
I'm finally through with my efforts towards what clearly was all my adult life's endeavour. The waiting game has begun and I for one have decided to ENJOY this stage as well.
To begin with, it turns out that the news about my blog has spread like wild fire (well not exactly) in my family. First it was my youngest brother who found it intriguing, enriching yet very boring! And then my elder bro was well, to put it mildly, all praise:)... and said that he read it into the wee hours! And I recently got a message from a junior from college asking me to change the comment settings as it prevents her from doing the same as she ain't a blogger and said "just wanted to say that you write very well .. you keep the person reading the blog interested." This was followed by the following sweet email:
Hi Himani,
I just happened to stumble upon your blog. I suppose you are Bengali !! I was actually randomly looking for the word "Bhalo" in Google Bengali, and your blog turns up as the 7th result. Now why I was doing this was because i happen to have a few Bengali friends and am quite influenced by passion they have for their culture. Its inspiring.
Anyway , just wanted to let you know that your blog is interesting and you seem to have had a much more interesting time in college like the prof. you mentioned in your blog.
You can check out mine too, i have stolen a line from yours in my latest post :D Hope you dont mind.

Receiving praise from your peers is one thing and that from your elders is another. Proud to state that one of my aunts could not stop marvelling at my writing skills. But the icing on the cake has surely been the following words of a senior curator at the centre: "I read your blog last night.. it's very impressive... you write extremely well.. good job... how do you go about it..."
I mention all this not in the least to brag but to highlight the fact that "they" are reading. I feel I've got to WATCH what I write but then again I want to uphold our legion's oath of honesty.
Honesty has always been the best policy, so that's what its going to be phelas but must confess that at times it may not be the WHOLE truth (I need to grow further to accept it openly).
P.S. - In my efforts to getting back to leading a normal life, a trip to the beauty parlour was well, unavoidable and long overdue. The beautician however, was not at all impressed with my state of being and utterly unsympathetic when I told her about THE examination and that it had only been two months. The poor lady in fact, got tired in the middle of it all and returned my ever so grateful grin with " See you after three months now!"
PP.S. - My colleague recently commented after reading the blog that "you know what.. one cannot come to know the real YOU after reading the posts!"
Needless to say that she was dead right!
