Alas!

So I go to see the most anticipated movie ever to only end up feeling that it could have been better!

Tom Hanks with his puffed eyes, was downright mediocre to say the least and so was Audrey Tautou (Sophie).

The only saving gracious was the unfortunate "ghost". I simply adore Paul Bettany to the core. Thankfully, Ian McKellen did justice to his character as well.

I was accompanied by my cousins and their eagerness to guess who 'the teacher' was goes to prove that the suspense was tranformed to the celluloid fairly successfully.

All in all, was disappointed to see that Sophie wasn't reunited with her long lost brother, was kinda looking forward to shedding a few tears, that's all.

Nonetheless, Ron Howard needs to be appreciated for taking up the project in the first place.

Next anticipated movie: Angels and Demons

P.S - This just goes on to prove the age old adage: Expect and thou shall be disappointed.
