FINALLY

Oh! I FEEL SO MUCH LOVE... (see picture)
The response by my family and friends has been overwhelming to say the least and it is all finally sinking in and that too after only 72 hours!
The following mail by the Chief Administrator officer of NCSM (National Council of Science Museums), GOI finally activated my emotive centre.
Dear Himani,
This is something that you were destined to achieve.I told you long back. My close colleagues here also agreed with me on this. I convey my heartiest congratulations. I am desired by my friends here to do the same on their behalf also. I am sure you will attain great heights.
I shall be looking forward to meeting a bright All India Service officer here shortly.
God bless you. My congrats to your parents also for their being your parents.
Best wishes
B. Dasgupta
Secretary, NCSM
From my friends finding the news "ROCKING" to all my elder bros "feeling very, very proud" and that "When I come to India, I expect to see a 'Guard of Honor' at the airport ;-)".
It feels like the LOVE is pouring in from all sides: my favourite uncle said that he felt like he had become an officer; one of my uncle's best friend in Jaipur, after seeing my name in the newspaper, conveyed his warm wishes; another's best friend called up my parents.
Oh God, I wish I never forget this shower of deepest love and affection ever.
I once again thank them all for now and forever.
Will add on as and when the numbness disappears.
