Read and Digest
As I neared the end of a once-in-a-lifetime village visit (most of which was spent daydreaming by the way), I took to Reader's Digest just for the heck of it and found the following words of divine wisdom.
- In the early years, you fight because you don't understand each other. In later years, you fight because you do.
- I think I have a disease called spontaneous disclosure. I need to tell everyone my life story instantaneously.
- "I didn't learn much from marriage because I didn't let it be much of a learning experience... I really wasn't prepared for the idea that if things start going really badly, you actually need to work them out... I was 28 years old. I wasn't as tolerant as I should have been and I wasn't as willing to fix things as i should have been. Had marriage come later in life, I probably would have understood better how to make it work." - George Clooney
- 1% of us have no conscience. This in earlier times was refereed to as 'moral insanity' and needless to say that these 'men without moral reason' were not welcome. (Felt for a second that I was with some of them...)
