Hoping Faith Would Sail Me Through
There is a lovely ad on Vh1 asking the viewer, 'If you were a song, what would it be?' Very interesting people are shown with the songs - Jeremy, Maria-Maria, et al written. Needless to say that each time I saw the ad, I got to thinking about what song would I be? I could only concur that Boy, it's difficult to decide and that some serious thinking should go behind it for that ONE song which would epitomise me per se.
EUREKA! Life's multitude vagaries helped me reach the long awaited answer:
'KEEP THE FAITH' by Bon Jovi. And then only just did I read the 'Thought of the Day' in our academy, a quote by Vaclav Havel which read as:
Hope is not the conviction that something will turn out well but the certainty that something makes sense regardless of how it turns out.
So there you go, in fact going by the url of my blog, one is not really surprised that this eternally optimistic person finds solace by telling herself that at the end of the day 'IT'S ALL FOR THE BEST' and that 'EVERYTHING'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT'. Yet, the unforeseen twists and turns in the road of life tend to catch one off guard every now and then but then it's life's unforeseeable occurrences that manage to reinforce one's belief in 'KEEPING THE FAITH' once again.
