Room for Loners
That's what LIFE is. It's a SERIES OF ROOMS & it's the people we get stuck with in those rooms that determines our life.
Dr. House utters these magical words in one of the episodes of the fantabulous medical show called 'House' on AXN.
As I look back at all the people I ever "got stuck with" in a room and how my life was shaped accordingly, I can't help but smile but soon after, the weight of the quote above becomes too much to handle.
A tide of people.. some wanted others forced upon but I'd like to think that all formed a part of the 'grand design'. As Marcus Aurelius says:
Whatever happens to you has been waiting to happen since the beginning of time. The twining hands of fate wove both of them together: your own existence and the things that happen to you.
Trouble is that in the end, my thoughts glace over the times when that person has been ME and trust me it's not PRETTY!
I reckon that the 'Law of Conservation of Energy' applies to love as well. That is to say, one will be the recipient of the same amount of love at all times i.e the quantity remains the same but the form may, rather MUST, change.
